Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Collabify pre-launch website and the Collabify account you create on it. Collabify is operated by Collabify Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 20 702 533 926) (“Collabify”, “we”, “us”).

By ticking the box to agree to these Terms when you create an account, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't create an account.

Collabify is a marketplace intended to connect businesses with creators for paid collaborations. It has not launched yet. During the pre-launch period you can create an account, view and update your basic information, and manage your email preferences. Marketplace features such as listings, applications, messaging and payments are not available yet.

We haven't set a launch date, and the features available at launch may differ from those described on this website. When Collabify launches, you'll be able to sign in with the same email address and password you use now. Additional terms may apply to marketplace features, and we'll ask you to review them before you use those features.

To create an account you must meet the minimum age requirement, which is 16 years or older. When you sign up, you're asked to confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you create a Business account, you confirm that you're authorised to act on behalf of the business you name.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date. You can edit your basic information from your account page.
• Keep your password confidential. Don't share your account or let others use it.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
• Your password is managed by our authentication provider and stored as a one-way hash. We can't look it up or recover it, but you can reset it from the login page.

You must not:

• use Collabify for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent;
• impersonate another person or business, or register a name or username you have no right to use;
• try to access another person's account or data, or interfere with the security or operation of the service;
• use automated means to create accounts or collect information from the service.

You keep ownership of the information you provide. You allow us to store and use it to operate your account and prepare it for the Collabify marketplace, as described in our Privacy Policy. During the pre-launch period, your profile information is not shown publicly.

We'll send you emails needed to run your account, such as email verification, password resets and important account or security notices. We'll only send launch updates and marketing emails if you've chosen to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We may update these Terms, for example before launch. Each version has a version number and effective date, and we keep a record of the version you agreed to. If we make a material change, we'll let you know and, where required, ask you to agree to the updated Terms.

You can ask us to close your account at any time by contacting us (see below). We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully or to cause harm. We'll handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded.

The pre-launch service is provided free of charge. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the pre-launch website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
